To start trading, you’ll need to download the Chippercash app on Google Play store and Apple App store. Then sign up for an account, add money to your wallet using either Mobile money for East African users and Bank in Nigeria. You can then buy stocks for as low as $1 (Ugx 3500) from any of the listed companies. This feature is limited to Ugandan users for now. Chipper has worked with the Capital Markets Authority and Bank of Uganda to launch the product. They also got the PSP and PSO license from the Bank of Uganda.
