Facebook responded on Twitter though saying: On Instagram, posts weren’t loading and neither was stories, you can’t even post anything or send a direct message. In addition, you are unable to visit the Messenger desktop platform but the app seems to be working well as at this moment. However, Facebook clarified that the issue is not in any way close to being a DDoS attack.
In segue, trying to use Facebook to sign into other apps is not going through with an error message saying that ‘the feature is not available right now.’ On the bright side, current log-ins still grants you access to these platforms not unless you sign-out yourself.. The extent of the issue is not clear, however, reports indicate that Facebook’s Oculus platform is also affected with users unable to log unto any of the multi-player games gotten from their store. In that regard, users are unable to purchase games from the store and the Oculus Home space appears not to be accessible either.
