Other features present in the new Redmi smartwatch include water resistance (up to 50 meters), over 120 watch faces, Near Field Communication (NFC) which helps to make payment processes seamless, a heart-rate monitor that monitors your heartbeat all day long, and Bluetooth 5.0. Redmi’s maiden smartwatch also has 7 sport modes, and at 35 grams, it has a really lightweight design. When connected to a smartphone, the watch can serve as a personal digital assistant, offering the user notifications for calls, SMS, and third-party apps. Redmi makes some really bold claims about this smartwatch’s battery life. The Redmi Watch is said to be able to deliver up to 7 days of juice on a full charge. And if you switch to the power saving mode, you can get an extra 5 days on that 7-day battery life.
